AGING PINOY MEMBERSHIP
Aging Pilipino Organization (APO), INC.,or commonly and popularly known as "AGING PINOY" is an international non-government welfare organizational( a non-stock-non-profit Organization) fully established and fully committed to promote,protect and serve the cause and interest of the filipino elderly(36-59 years old) and senior citizens (60 years old upwards) so that they will continue to live and work productively and happily for nation-building, national reforms, and national development.
Philosophy:
AGING PINOY adheres to the Philosophy of a welfare state wherein the aging population receives and deserves the nurturance and services from the people (represented by Aging Pinoy )and the government as rewards for its past and present contributions to society. Aging Pinoy shall work hand and hand with the government to serve this purpose.
VISION:
AGING PINOY envisions itself as an international non-government welfare institution intrumental in providing the people, especially and mostly Filipinos, new hope and power to live and work productively and happily in a society fostered by nurturing spirit of its people and government.
MISSION
AGING PINOY's Corporate Mission Statement is "To provide the Filipino elderly and senior citizens all venues, oppurtunities, and support mechanism to continue living and working productively and happily for nation, building national reforms, and national development in common solidarity with other sectors of Philippine".

PLANS AND PROGRAMS
The APO Inc. shall endeavor to develop an implement programs and projects which will safeguard to rights and promote the interest of seniors citizens. In doing so , it shall collaborate and cooperate with all concerned stakeholders in the implementation of national programs, projects and activities in support of Republic Act 9257 or the "Expanded Senior Citizens Act" and other laws and regulation designed to enhance the well being of older persons. It will also extend its welcome and cooperation to the international partners and demonstrate support to Phillipine commitments towards international cooperation in such areas as research, information exchange, training and other activities which contribute to the implementation of the Macao Plan of Action on Aging for Asia and the Pacific and the Madrid International Plan of Action of Ageing.
In line with the above, APO Inc. shall implement the following flagship programs.
1. National Pension Plan Program
The objective of this program is to advocate development of a national pension plan with particular focus on low-income senior citizens in the non-formal sector. Related to work shall include research and information exchange on alternative mechanism for promoting income security.
2. Regional Facilities Program
This program aims to build regional and provincial facility centers which can provide medical, hospitalization, health and other services , principally, to low-income elderly and senior citizens who qualify under established APO poverty standard. An initial project under this program is the construction of hospital and condo-tel to be sold well-to-do elderly and senior citizens of the country(and from abroad) with the end-in-view of using the earnings to finance the services to be provided to those who cannot afford. The program shall be financed by social investors through grants, donations, gifts (or loans to be paid by the earnings of the facilities).
1. Internal Pension / Special Assessment Savings Program (SASP)
This programs aims to provide a pre-need pension plan to all individuals who are interested to have such plan, targeting the elderly and the senior citizens.
The main feature of the plan is for a beneficiary to contribute a specific amount continously for five (5) years, wait for another five (5) years without any contributions and then at 11th year, starts to deliver a monthly pension. During these 10 years period, the beneficiary shall be insured with double indemnity in case of accidents.
A beneficiary shall automatically become a member of a Multi-Purpose Cooperative (MPC ) which shall operate and manage the program. A five-man Fund Management Committee (FMC) elected by the GA of the MPC and supervised by the EXECOM of APO Inc. shall be officially created to established and implement appropriate fund control systems. This is done to avoid mismanagement and loss of fund contributions of the insured.
2. Discount Program
This program has 3 major components, namely:
1.Discount privileges (in prices and in service fees) from companies/institutions covered by Republic Act 9257;
2.Discounts privileges from companies /institutions with MOA with APO Inc.;
3.Multi-Purpose Cooperative
Program for member whose central focus is to establish cooperative stores to reduce prices of basic commodities and to extend credit to member for livelihood and other socio-economic projects individual members.
Total Public Service Program
This program consists of assistance and services to be given by APO Inc. to its member and as public services, to the rest of the Philippine society, with particular focus on:
A. Medical E. Livelihood
B. Dental F. Housing
C. Legal G. Lot Acquisition
D. Research Training H. Community services.
Brief History of Aging Pilipino Organization. Inc.
The Aging Pilipino Organization, (APO) Inc. better known as "Aging Pinoy" is a non-profit, non government organization, organized December 1999 By Eng. Nerio F. Corvera and was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission on January 18, 2000 with Registry No.200000750. Ito ay itinatag at naglalayong isulong, ipagtanggol at paglingkuran ang kapakanan, kabutihan at kagalingang panlahatan ng mga nakakatanda(36-59) at matatandang Pilipino(60 taong gulang pataas).
Ito ay binubuo ng mga grupo na may iisang adhikain at pananaw na makapagbigay ng maraming benepisyo, kalinga at atensyon sa pangka-buhayan, upang maiangat ang ating mahihirap na matatanda. Tulungan sila na patuloy na mamuhay at maghanap-buhay ng masaya, masagana at kapaki-pakinabang at hindi maging pasakit at pasanin sa kanilang mga anak o kamag-anak.
The primary objectives of Aging Pinoy is to manifest to the consideration, focused on its principles and platform of government in providing health care, comfortable living affordable land and better environmental conditon on the life of our elderly and senior citizens for both in the public and private sector. Ang pananaw at misyon ay maging kasangkapan o instrumento na makapagbigay ng akmang lugar, tamang pagkakataon at angkop na pamamaraan upang itaguyod o suportahan ang kapaki-pakinabang na buhay at pamumuhay ng mga tumatanda o nkakatanda sa ating lipunan.
Membership Requirements:
A. Qualifications - All 36 years of age and above are eligible to become a member of Apo Inc.
B. Membership Fee- 300/person for those residing in the Philippines ( One time payment, lifetime benefit).
C. Application Forms/Picture- Must fill-up and sign and submit an application for membership- Must submit 1 picture either 1x1 or 2x2.
D. Seminar/ Orientation- must know by heart the policies , systems and procedures of APO, Inc. through seminar or orientation.
Naniniwala ang AGING PINOY sa isang estadong nagmamalasakit at kumakalinga sa mga mtatandang mamamayan nito bilang ganti at pagkilala sa kanilang maga ambag o kontribusyon sa pagtatag at pagbuo ng bansa, noon at ngayon. Subali't kung hindi man ito kayang gampanan o gawin ng gobyerno natin ngayon, nandito ang AGING PINOY na binubuo ng ng mga kasaping tapat at nagbubuklod-buklod upang punan o akuin ang mga tungkulin at rsponsibilidad ng pamahalaan sa mga mamamayan nitong may edad at matatanda na ngunit kapaki-pakinabang pa sana kung may magtataguyod at tutulong lamang sa kanila.

Sa pamamagitan ng pagsapi sa Aging Pinoy ay isang malaking pribelihiyo na magkaroon ng mga diskwento sa mga restaurants o fastfood chain. Maging sa transportasyon ay mayroon tayong mga merchant partner na tinatawag upang maging kaagapay natin. Ang isang kasapi ay magkakaroon ng I.D na may background ng Philippine Flag.

Aging Pilipino Organization (APO) Inc. is currently engaged in a project distributing affordable lots to its members as one of their benefits. The project is located at Barangay San Luis, Antipolo City almost thirty (30) minutes drive or ride from Cubao Quezon City. The project site which is surrounded by different subdivisions is a beautiful residential place to acquire for a simple family wanting to live in a quiet place to suite a harmonious living. Insular Homes Subdivision is located on the east side. Transportation is accessible and approximately three hundred (300) meters away from the Marco Highway.
This project is twenty four (24) hectares lot, owned and managed by Mr. Hermino Sanchez and sold to Aging Pinoy Organization (APO) Inc. represented by its officers headed by Atty. Elpidio S. Santiago through Memorandum of Agreement to be paid for in three (3) years.
Aging Pilipino Organization (APO) Inc. is a Non-Government Org. , Non-Profit and Non-Stock, registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission on January 18, 2000 with a Sec. Registry No. A200000750. It is also registered with the Bureau of Internal Revenue and acquired a business permit from the Quezon City government. Aiming to enhance its advocacies, the organization participated as a party list in the 2004 and 2007 elections- just to prove its credibility as being well organized.
To promote the welfare of its members, the organization launched its pilot program at a very affordable amount using its GLAD program that started last February 15, 2008.
GLAD= Group Land Acquisition and Distribution is a special way of acquiring and distributing lots allowed by the govrnment to all organization, association, federation or even cooperatives allowing them to acquire big parcels of land to distribute to their members as form of benefit. The members may avail this benefit (50 square meters each) for as low as Php 1,350.00 monthly contribution for five (5) years.

Applications who would like to join the program are required to attend the scheduled seminars he or she must be 18 years of age and above. After which, they will fill up membership application forms of both Aging Pilipino Organization (APO) Inc. and pay a membership fee of Php. 300.00 and Homeowners Association with a membership fee of Php. 350.00 together with a 2x2 ID picture. tripping and seminars are scheduled daily from Monday to Saturday.
